Objective: to develop and validate an educational booklet on the introduction of complementary feeding in infants. Method: a methodological study with a quantitative approach, based on Echer's methodology, which guides the assumptions for the elaboration of educational materials. The booklet was evaluated and judged by judges in relation to the content, through the Flipsnack application, together with the questionnaire for content evaluation, via Google Forms. Results: 15 judges judged the booklet, of which all were nurses. All professionals showed a positive evaluation in relation to the agreement and relevance of the content presented, in addition to classifying the potential of its use as very relevant in 66.7%. Conclusion: after elaborating and validating the educational booklet, we demonstrated that the material developed has characteristics that are easy to understand, in addition to being characterized by the judges as a material of great support for the professional nurse during their childcare consultations.
